This week I am reading The Last Guardian by Eoin Colfer the last book in his Artemis Fowl series, and the boys and I are listening to an unabridged version of Treasure Island in the car. The Artemis Fowl book is exciting and hilarious and we are really enjoying Treasure Island. Some books really are excellent no matter what century they are read in. This book is fast paced, full of action and intrigue and fascinating characters, but also has amazing language and description. A grail book if I ever saw one. The bodies do start piling up, but this does not seem to bother my boys at all. Who would have known. This has been good week for reading/listening.
