We will be leaving early Sunday morning for Grandma Judy’s and then get on the train Monday morning to start our “Adventure”! I was just panicking a wee bit because we spent a fair amount of our savings on surgery for Shamu (who is doing great by the way)but God has seen fit to send several unexpected monetary blessings our way this week and we will be able to get Starbucks on the way after all! A selfish concern but strangely He cares even about vacation. Part of me is horrified, “How can you answer my prayer for coffee $ on our vacation God when there are people starving around the world?” That of course didn’t keep me from praying it and lo and behold He sent down a yes. A strange and loving God is our King. He must be answering the prayers of stressed our Moms in Liberia and Bolivia as well.

They aren’t running away, getting lost in the woods, taking drugs or committing crimes in need of lawyerly assistance. I would say all these activities are in the ‘pesky, curious, mischievous, and slightly ornery’ category. I’m sure the ‘much discipline’ is going to make a difference.
