Seems to depend on whether the characters are interesting to me or not.

I’m fairly ‘blond’ in that area. I do love the O’Malley series but now that you mention it, I see what you mean. Also, they do kind of all sound alike so after listening to all of the series, one book after another, I did get a bit weary and could kind of predict what would happen and what they would say and do. Oh well, I still love them and will listen to them again, I’m sure.
