So that’s my problem… trying to do too many things like reading, photography, blogging, sewing, cross-stitch, and scrapbooking! 😉

I just finished the new book by Lisa Samson – The Passion of Mary-Margaret. I thought it was fantastic! 310 pages made it seem a bit slow, but I don’t think she could have made it any shorter.

I don’t sew, I don’t garden, I hardly ever scrapbook, I don’t paint, I don’t draw, I don’t play a musical instrument, I don’t have houseplants, I don’t decorate, and I don’t quilt. A neighbor was sweet enough to offer to teach me to quilt after she gave me a ride home on Tuesday (our car died on the hill) but I said “no thank you” because honestly I would much rather read!

Also, I want to write. And the writing books are unanimous on this point: “If you don’t have time to read, you have no business trying to write.” So all of my free time is in one basket as it were. Writing and Reading. With the writing, the reading is a pleasurable necessity.

Hmmmm, I guess I could look at how many tapes/discs are in the book. I don’t see how you do it, add actual reading to the list of things you do. I have to listen to my books or I don’t get any reading done. Maybe my eyes are getting slow with age. I wonder if slow-eyes is a symptom of something?
